My name is Sarah Phillips Pellet and I am the author of two children’s picture books: The Kangaroo Pouch, A Story About Surrogacy, illustrated by Laurie Faust, and Candles in the Cabin, illustrated by Raúl González. I am currently working on middle grade and young adult novels. My books are available on-line through this site, Amazon.com, Waterstones.com and Trafford.com.

For most of my career I’ve been a business writer, but in the past few years, I’ve turned my attention to creative writing. This blog is about my journey down that path.

I currently live in New Jersey with my husband and children. I grew up in Massachusetts and Maine and spent many years living in England as well. In addition to writing, I also practice and teach karate. I love yoga, skiing, snowshoeing, kayaking, and hiking – anything that gets me outside with my family, friends, and pets.
